This is a safe, structural minifier: it removes comments and redundant whitespace and tightens attributes, while leaving quoted strings,
url() values, calc() expressions and the contents of <pre>, <textarea>, <script> and <style> untouched. It does not rename classes, merge rules or rewrite values — for that, use a build step such as cssnano or esbuild. What this tool does
- check_smallMinify: strips comments, collapses whitespace, trims redundant separators
- check_smallBeautify: re-indents nested rules and elements with your chosen indent
- check_smallHandles CSS at-rules, media queries and nested blocks
- check_smallLeaves the contents of pre, textarea, script and style blocks alone
- check_smallBefore / after byte counts and the percentage saved
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Whatever you paste stays on your machine — there is no back end, no upload and no analytics on your input.
